Where does the tour start?
Tours meet daily at 2:00 PM at The Daily Green.
719 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10036, in the heart of Times Square. The tour runs until about 4:30 PM.
Nearest subway stations: 49 St (N/R/W) and Times Sq–42 St (1/2/3/7/N/Q/R/W/S).​
Please arrive 10 minutes early with a valid 21+ ID.
Is Cannabis legal in New York?
Yes!
Recreational Cannabis is legal in New York for adults 21+
You can smoke anywhere tobacco is allowed!
Buying must be done through licensed dispensaries.
Adults 21+ can legally possess up to 3 oz of flower (85 grams).
What is NYC Canna Tours?
We are an educational Cannabis Tour focused on history, laws and culture while highlighting NYC's top dispensaries & lounges. The tour covers an often overlooked side of cannabis history they don't teach you in school!
How long is the tour & how far will we be walking?
The tour is about 2.5 hours (2:00–4:30 PM daily).
The route is about 2 to 3 miles of easy urban walking with stops along the way.
Will we visit dispensaries or see cannabis products?
Yes! We will stop at some of the top legal dispensaries with exclusive deals. Our partners have a wide selection of flower, edibles, vapes, rosin and almost any other cannabis product you can think of!

What should I bring & wear?
All participants must be 21+ and bring a valid ID.
We recommend bringing some extra cash along if you plan to get anything from one of the local dispensaries.
You can also bring along a camera, water bottle, your favorite snack or even your own cannabis.
We suggest checking the weather, wearing appropriate clothing and wearing comfortable walking shoes.
Do I need to be 21+ years of age?
Yes, all guests are required to be 21+ with a valid ID.
To stay compliant with NY State OCM requirements, we can't make any exceptions due to our stops at licensed dispensaries.

Is the tour appropriate for cannabis "beginners"?
For anyone new to the cannabis scene, we offer personalized assistance at every dispensary. We can help you navigate menus and select the highest-quality products at the right dose for your comfort level.​
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes! We offer worry-free cancellation. Cancel at least 24 hours before your tour for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour are not refundable, but we're happy to try to reschedule you instead, based on availability.
Can I reschedule my tour?
We understand plans change. To reschedule, email contact@nyccannatours.com at least 24 hours before your tour. Inside 24 hours, we'll still do our best to move you to another date, based on availability. All rescheduling requests are approved at the discretion of NYC Canna Tours.
Does the tour run in bad weather?
Tours run rain or shine, so please check the forecast and dress for the weather. Refunds are not offered for weather, walking distance, travel delays, or purchases made at our partner businesses.
What if I was charged twice or see a billing error?
Email contact@nyccannatours.com within 7 days of your tour with a copy of your ticket and proof of the charge, and we'll make it right.
